Its lightweight prevents costly repairs to cabinetry and walls due to heavy weight like most other door/gates. Constructed of .75" internal core compressed closed cell polystyrene with a plastic laminate outer surface, hinges are bi-directional spring loaded, fully adjustable, with an aluminum jamb.
